Generally, people approaching the New Year as the time to start again, blank page to be packaged, the network will be expanded, but January 2019 is not just a time to start again but to re-interact with Existing Network and the development of relationships that laid the foundations for them in 2018.

Here's how you can do it successfully.
1. Send personal private messages.
LinkedIn allows you to send up to 100 private messages per day to your first-class connections. The key to it is to use them well: customize messages with the recipient's name and preferably mention their company, and provide something of value – a company newsletter, a change in legislation that may affect them, and a link to an interesting article. Publish an article using the LinkedIn publishing platform and share the link to it in a message. LinkedIn says more than a million people use LinkedIn's publishing platform, and more than 130,000 participants participate every week. Think of this as a Christmas gift for your connection, rather than a playground. If you'd like to, sign up with a call to action like "Maybe we can catch up with the new year?"
2. Make use of your network.
According to Linden, the average B2B buying process now includes 6.8 decision makers. However, 78% of sales professionals are linked to one person or are not at all associated with accounts they are trying to close. See through your contacts and then see other people who have the decision-making power also work in their company and communicate with them; communicate with the entire decision-making board. Did you know that up to 50% of B2B buyers use LinkedIn when making purchasing decisions?

3. Connect you
At first glance, the formatting section of LinkedIn personal files is often rejected as a meaningless tool. Error. This clicks on the ego of people. They generally appreciate good feelings and a clear interest in them. This has a twofold positive effect:
- They will support you, enhancing your profile on LinkedIn
- They will remember that you are there and will prompt them to schedule a call with you. You have successfully passed their memory.
4. Ask your contacts for their opinions and feedback
I still see a negative response when customers ask their contacts to comment on a new product or service. This channel is particularly effective for market research. A customer, about to launch an application, received hundreds of useful ideas that allow him to optimize the site before launch.

5. Make a good impression – focus on your title
If you've contacted someone for years, your name may not resonate when you send a message so they can take a quick look at your profile. Also keep in mind that your name and address will appear in many places on LinkedIn, such as search results pages. In addition, LinkedIn claims that users with full profiles are 40 times more likely to contact the opportunities.
Make sure your address is optimized for keywords that are appropriate for your business, industry, or skill. You can also use your own address to distinguish yourself from others in your field. The key here is to use this space to accurately tell your contacts What You can help them. The immediate result is that they will listen to what you are saying.
Ideally, you should hire a professional to improve your profile so that LinkedIn gives you priority, but here are some examples of very converted titles:
- Founding partner and partner – (The Company's name) Private Equity Specialists Investment Opportunities for Senior Executives
- Founder Partner @ (The Company's name) Providing transparent digital life insurance solutions Strategic Equity Research Analyst
- Founder @ (The Company's name)]| Strategic Portfolio and Financial Advisor Helping clients reduce risk and maximize wealth
- Director Strategic Advisor for International Wealth Management and Financial Planning Consultant Family Office
What is more important than what everyone is doing now is planning for the future next year. This year, 2018, was the year in which LinkedIn transformed the desktop interface and mobile application with a host of new features. Updates include the Custom Notifications section, the ability to add documents to your posts, and the scan feature that may make your business cards quite old.
