When sociologists and anthropologists in the future look at our time to find out what made us mark, one of the key records they might turn into is Twitter archives. The social network has become an informal registry record in many ways. This is where we go for blasphemy or complaining, sharing messages of love and hate, finding news, or publishing false news. It is even the primary mediator used by the President of the United States to convey his ideas to the world.
In other words, Twitter is a thumbnail of our lives and times. Given a year of tweet posts, it can give us a glimpse of the things that the world has moved in 2018. With that in mind, we've collected this set of some of our favorite tweets for the year. It is this that has aroused emotion – be it a laugh, an agreement, a sorrow or a loophole.

There are new CDC data on gun deaths in America. Last year saw the largest number of gun deaths in 40 years, nearly 40,000 people. What's wrong with us? This is not a problem we should face at all, let alone a problem getting worse.

But, to me, more than anything else, John was a friend. Will miss a lot. pic.twitter.com/AS8YsMLw3d

I was hiding in a closet for two hours. It was about guns. Were not there, do not know how I felt. Guns give these disgusting people the ability to kill other humans. This is about guns and this is about all the people whose lives ended suddenly because of guns. https://t.co/XnzhvuN1zd

The loss of Bill Goldman made me cry. My favorite book of all time is Princess Pride. I was honored to have been allowed to convert it into a movie. I visited with him last Saturday. He was very weak, but his mind still has the edge of Goldman. I told him I loved him. He smiled and said you fuck.

Congratulations to all #Black Panther the team! Because of you, young people will eventually see superheroes like them on the big screen. I loved this movie and I know it will encourage people of all backgrounds to dig deeper and find the courage to be heroes of their own stories.

You are 25 years old.
You see a movie accompanied by a movie of all Asians during the show, and for some reason you cry and you can not stop. You've never seen anything like this in Hollywood. Everyone is beautiful.
You are very happy that you are Chinese. #CrazyRichAsians #RepresentationMatters

What about no.
Political media are sometimes very focused on personalities rather than politics.
The whole country was subjected to exhausting midterm elections. We need to break.

Why do many young people flock to brands on social media for love, direction and attention? I'll tell you why. They are isolated from the real communities, the jobs of the service they hate while barely making meat, and they live without personal / mental health problems
